¿QUÉ SON LAS PROFESIONES? The professions are occupations that require specialized knowledge, high-level educational training, control over the content of work, self-organization, self-regulation, altruism, spirit of service to the community and high ethical standards. It is generally accepted that a profession is a specialized activity of work within society, and the person who carries it out is called a professional. To be a professional it is necessary to study at a University or a Professional Institute for a period of four or more years. Example of Professionals: Engineers, Lawyers, Doctors, Architect, Journalist, Veterinarian, Dentist, etc.
